Cooper’s success derives from experience, craftsmanship and attention to customer service. That success has been earned one project at a time. Sales were at all time highs in 2006 and 2007, with a large portion of the work resulting from invited bidders and negotiated contracts. The company still occasionally pursues selected public projects. However, Cooper has enjoyed long relationships with many of their customers, resulting in a great deal of repeat business. For example, the company has completed 7 multi-million dollar projects for one of its industrial customers. In addition, as one of WNC’s senior, largest and most reputable general contractors, Cooper tends to sell itself. Many new clients are a direct result of strong recommendation from previous clients or associates.

Although not necessarily revenue driven, sales have increased substantially over recent years, the company has never desired growth for the sake of growth. Cooper remains founded in the philosophy of managing their projects in a progressive and professional, yet personal, manner. What sets Cooper apart is a firm belief in properly managing projects with a sense of urgency and proper communications rather than letting projects manage the company.
